September's poem

Here is the link where you can find the poem.

Have a lovely weekend!

What is an Idiom?

An idiom is an expression whose meaning is not clear from the meaning of its words. In other words, idioms have meanings that cannot be figured out by looking the words up in a dictionary. They have meanings that are understood by people who speak that language, but are very hard to understand for people who do not speak the language.
That's why we are going to learn a few of them.
I'm gonna give you the meaning of the first one for you to see what I want you to do.
Next time It'll be your turn.

A bit at sea

Meaning: to not really understand what you are supposed to do.
Example: The teacher told his class: answer the questions on the blackboard, but none of the class understood the questions and were  a bit at sea.

Here I leave you the dictation we did last Thursday.
Remember to copy it all if you have had more than three mistakes.
Anyway, I will check it on Monday.
have a great weekend!

I have travelled quite a lot since coming to Spain.  Travelling in Europe is much less expensive than travelling in the United States.  Because it is much cheaper to travel in Europe, I am trying to see as many places as possible during my time in Spain.
In September, I spent one weekend in Alicante. The weather was great, and the paella was excellent.  Then, in October, I flew to Brussels for a weekend.  During my weekend in Brussels, I took a train to visit Amsterdam for a day.
